This is a club FOR ALL AGES.

What is Being OBSESSED?

Ask yourself these questions:

Am I REALLY obsessed about it? Or do I just like it? Do I think about it constantly and at inapropriate times even when I should be thinking about other things that are more important partaining to my life? Or do I only think about it when it's in front of me or when I'm bored? If you answered yes to the first and thrid question, then YES! Otherwise, please don't list stuff you only just enjoy a bit.

What it takes to be a member:

Being obsessed with something, anything at all, so long as its healthy. (like, movie or cartoon or anime characters, or kitties or birds or Tango or chocolate or pretty cups or bottle caps or shampoo, etc) And, as far as I can tell, the club will mostly base around characters. Original or fan-based.

If you are obsessed about a person, s/he MUST be a deviantARtist; I will note the person and ask their permission for you to be obsessed with them. We don't want any unhealthy stalkers or the reciever of the obsession to be upset. If they say no, you will have to pick something else to be obsessed about. (If you're obsessed about all of your freinds, OR a celeb, that's fine.)

Some things that would not be permitted are things that violate human and animal rights, anything that goes against the DeviantART rules, sexual themes, and otherwise unhealthy destructive activities like setting fire to things or cutting oneself. We won't promote that because it isn't any good for anyones psyche. If you note us telling us you're obsessed with various body parts, then scram and don't some back. THIS IS NOT A FETISH CLUB! I just said this is a club for all ages. If you do distructive things, you can go to the forums and talk it out there and get some help form other deviants.

NO SPAMMIG or FLAMING. EVER. Everyone has their own opinions and likings. If you don't like it, then TOO BAD. Im not treating anyones obsesion with specialness - equal rights does not mean special rights. And besides, how you feel is soemone suddenly flamed you for loving something so much?

If you note us, whether the first time or the tenth time saying you're obsessed with boobs or blood, we will not allow you to be a member EVER. These are the rules and they are plain english and here for evryone to read. Besides which, Im sure there are clubs around for boobs and pain, so look for them.


The steps to becomming a member are:

1) Have our icon or just our devname (this is good to save space and for your journal; to look neater if you don't usually have icons in your journal) in your journal for as long as you are a member. That means every journal you put up, until you quit being a member.

When you write the code, make sure there aren't any spaces:

You CANNOT just have us in your friends list. We need to know you really are a member, and that you like being the obsessive geek nerd fan that you are! Plus, it gives us some free advertising room for other geeks to show off their obsession. Hey, we're advertising you in the members page, why not return the favour?

2) Note us, becauase we won't answer page comments. Include:

a*)What you are obsessed about...
a**)Please make the list no longer than 10.

b*)AND one piece of art that you made form your obsession.
b**)No more than 2 submissions at first go.

c)This is optional, you can add a comment about your piece or your obsession. Keep it clean and neat and gramatically correct. We will not copy the artists comment off of your pege, we don't have that much time.

*a)We'll say what you are obsessed about in the members page. This will help you find other people who are obsessed about the same things as you are! Don't explain why, please, just make a list.

**a)Also, be as specific as you can, name the exact thing you are obsessed about; don't ever say "and stuff" (or "etc." or "and others") because we don't know what to do with "and stuff."

You can certainly be obsessed with MORE than just ten things, and can send us submissions of them, but pick the ten things you are most obsessed about.
When memebrs come in, we will have less and less space to provide for all of the members. If you are specific enough, or in some cases, vauge enough (say "Anime" instead of "Voltron" because you like all anime and not just Voltron, or "Voltron" instead of "Anime" because Voltron is the only anime you like), it will save lots of room.

*b)Just to prove that you really are obsessed with something. Upload the piece of art (no scraps! Real artwork!) to your own page. Then open up the piece of art to full view. Look up at the top of your window, you will see the address bar: the begining always starts with: ... h t t p : / /... copy it, and paste it into the note you send us. We will not accept screenshots of movies or animations or xeroxed copies of anything. The work MUST be original, and, if it isn't a fan based obsession, then it must be copywrited to you.

(**b)Please do NOT send us more than 2 submissions when you join, and no more than 5 submissions per week per note after that!
Be patient with us, we do have other things to do, and you helping us is really helping you in the long run.

What we will and will not do:

We will NOT note you back if you ask us if we are interested in your membership. You must note us with the fulfilled requirements on your own time.

If there is something wrong with how you noted us, you forgot something, and we note you back telling you what you missed, you will NOT be added as a member until you correct that mistake!

We will NOT add your friends as members for them, they must do it themselves.

We will NOT add you unless you provide a piece of art with you. I know this sounds wierd, but hey, you're obsesed with it, so why don't you already have a piece on it?

We will NOT Use the favourites system. This may seem like we "abuse" the system, or recrute members, even though that would not be the case.

We will NOT have a featured piece of artwork from a member; it will be reserved for an introductin to the club.

We WILL be fair to all members; no one is getting special treatment or being picked on. If something is wrong from our part, we will apologize and make it better, but if its on your end, don't get into a huff because all the rules are right on this page and there is no reason for you to not follow them.

By Submitting your work to us, you do not give over any rights, you simply give us permission to have up your work. Copywrite information will be giving to you, and a link to the original submission in your gallery. Devious comments will be disabled so that visitors can be directed to your page. Visitors will be told that Favouriting the piece should be done on the original sumission, but this is sometimes ignored.

I guess after all of that, I should introduce myself. I'm ~Madelaine My husband is ~Rasputin-Zero and the most important thing on our brains now is our own comic! And Animated Film, reading comics, watching cartoons, writing, and drawing.
